Øystein Dahl Hem, Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Interim CEO
Øystein Dahl Hem is the Company's CFO, a position he has held since the middle of 2019. He also serves as the company's Interim CEO since August 2021. Øystein has extensive management and industry experience after working with business-to-business sales and marketing in Telenor Norway for four years, two of which within the video collaboration industry, two years working with strategy for Telenor Norway and two yours working for McKinsey.
Øystein holds a Master of Science and Technology degree in Industrial Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (2010).
Tom Erik Lia, Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder
Tom Erik Lia is the Company's Chief Strategy Officer, a position he has held since September 2021. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer since October 2018. Tom-Erik has over 26 years of industry experience. As co-founder and CEO of Videxio from 2011 to 2018, Tom-Erik built a successful cloud-based video conferencing service that merged with Pexip 1.0 in December of 2018. Prior to Videxio, Tom-Erik was Vice President of Research & Development at Tandberg (now Cisco) from 1994 to 2011, where he was managing, creating and building video collaboration product portfolios, including working on product and technology strategy and acquisitions, product management and software development. During the period 1998-2010, Tom-Erik also filed and published several international patents within the industry.
Tom-Erik holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (Nw.: Ingeniør) in Computer and Electronic Engineering from Østfold Ingeniørhøgskole (1991), a Bachelor with Honors degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Bristol University (1993) and a Master of Engineering (Nw.: Sivilingeniør) degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (1993).
Nicolas Cormier, Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Nicolas Cormier is the Company's CTO, a position he has held since September 2021. He was previously Chief Operating Officer (COO) from 2020. Nico has extensive industry experience and expertise after working eight years with Pexip.
Nico holds a Master of Information Technology degree from Macquarie University (2009), a Master of Computer Science degree from European Institute of Technology (2008) and a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from European Institute of Technology (2006).
Åsmund Olav Fodstad, President Global Sales & Marketing
Åsmund Olav Fodstad is the President Global Sales & Marketing of Pexip, a position he has held since September 2021. He was previously the President of Global Sales & APAC from March 2018. Before assuming the leadership role, he served as the company’s CEO, Executive Vice President for worldwide sales and marketing since he joined in 2013. Åsmund brings more than 25 years experience in executive leadership positions at technology companies to Pexip. At Pexip, Fodstad manages the direction of the company's activities in sales, channels and direct responsibility of the sales activities in APAC. Åsmund is a join leader in an ongoing project of ensuring Pexip is the "Best Place to Work" with a strong emphasis on company culture and core values.
Prior to joining Pexip, Åsmund served as CEO for Norwegian business software and CRM manufacturer SuperOffice, Vice President Asia Pacific for video conferencing pioneer Tandberg, and Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing for the solar power innovator REC Solar AS. Åsmund is an active advocate for a leadership style that is based on mutual respect, trust, and honesty.
Åsmund holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, International Business, from the BI Norwegian Business School.
John Harald Grønningen, President EMEA
John Harald Grønningen is the Company's President of EMEA. John Harald joined Pexip in 2015, serving first as the VP of Sales Southern Europe before leading EMEA from 2016. He has extensive experience with leading both EMEA and global sales teams across different industries, and is a 15 year industry veteran including 10 years at Tandberg in a variety of positions.
John Harald holds a Master of Science (Msc) in Business Administration and Management from BI Norwegian Business School.
Karl Hantho, President, Americas
Karl Hantho leads the Americas business for Pexip, a position he has held since 2013 when he joined Videxio as the 1st employee in the Americas. Mr Hantho has extensive leadership experience including being the President of Tandberg in the Americas between 1997 and 2004.
Karl received a Masters of Business Administration degree from McGill University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Dalhousie University. Over the years, Karl has held several Board positions and has been involved with industry associations working to evangelize and grow the adoption of videoconferencing.
Ingrid Woodhouse - Chief People Officer
Ingrid is Pexip's Chief People Officer. Ingrid joined Pexip in November 2018 and is responsible Pexip's employees and their development in Pexip.
Prior to joining Pexip, Ingrid has 15 years of leadership experience within people and professional development in McKinsey & Company, as well as serving as the general manager for Juvelér Langaard. She is Høyskolekandidat from BI.
Patricia Auseth - SVP of Purpose and Development
Patricia holds the position SVP of Purpose & Development at Pexip with the objective to accelerate the organisation towards its vision and goals.
She has 20 years of experience from growth companies, having helped transform businesses and organisations that have disrupted industries and become Great Places to Work. Patricia has extensive background in the collaboration/technology industry having held senior positions in TANDBERG, Cisco, Acano and at Disruptive Technologies.
Patricia holds an International Bachelors degree from ESADE, Spain, and NMH/BI Norway.
John Thorneycroft - SVP of Business Management
John Thorneycroft is Pexip’s SVP of Business Management and is responsible for ensuring that Pexip’s products and propositions are aligned with the market.
Prior to joining Pexip in August 2020, he led the Strategy function at Kinly, a major visual collaboration specialist. Between 2013-2016, John led the Commercial and Marketing functions of the UK Business Division of BT Group, where he also previously served in other commercial and strategy roles.
John holds an MA in Economics from Cambridge University (1999).
